Our late afternoon rescue mission at Newcastle's Mr Fixit a local kalaroo resident needed our help to get home again.

For all those sporting clubs with pie ovens sitting on the shelves that don't work.
We've just completed work on a few the last few weeks and brought them back to life!!!!
Mr Fixit is adding Pie warmers to its list of appliances we're servicing now!

Think i know where a few are that need looking at myself 🤔

The NSW Government’s Washing Machine Exchange Program is subsidising eligible low-income households to upgrade their inefficient top-loading washing machine to a water and energy efficient front-loading model – saving water and easing the cost of living.

Round one of the program will launch on 1 July 2025 and will close when all washing machines have been allocated for that round

To be eligible for the program you must:

be a resident of NSW
be more than 18 years old
hold a valid Pensioner Concession Card, Health Care Card* or Low Income Card from Centrelink or Department of Veteran Affairs
have an existing top-loading washing machine to exchange.

Do you have great customer service skills? Enjoy meeting new customers and solving problems? Are you practical and love working with your hands?
We are a family own small business based in Redhead who have been operating for over 25 years in the local area.
We are looking for someone with practical skills in electronics or small motors etc with a minimum of cert 3 qualifications. With or willingness to obtain a Restricted Electrical (Disconnect/Reconnect) You will need a NSW Drivers Licence.
Your job will entail diagnosing, fault finding and repairing Household Kitchen and Laundry appliances through out Newcastle, Lake Macquarie and Lower Hunter.
Job is 38 hours a week (though for the right person we could be flexible). Above award wage MA000025 Electrical, Electronic and communication contracting award
