We were given some Pfeffernüsse (spiced gingerbread bikkies) for Christmas which I didn’t think Harvey would like because they are quite a sting spice flavour… I was wrong and he ate most of them!

By chance I looked on Cookioo for a recipe and lo and behold… there it was, a Pfeffernüsse recipe!

Enough said… we made them today and they were even better than the store bought version. Definitely making these again. I’d even forgo the icing at the end, they are great with and without!

Can’t go past a good homemade cottage pie! This one I use a modified recipe I found on the net but do the potatoes I while everything else is happening. Makes mashing potato so easy!

I never add all of the milk, if any. I replace it with a big tbs of sour cream and use chicken salt instead of regular.
This one I actually switched beef mince for chicken mince which worked really well!

If you like Summer barbecues and the pasta salad from the grocery store, then this one will be for you! Pretty easy to make at the last minute.
I would recommend using a better quality pasta, and maybe consider cutting down the vinegar and tasting before you decide on sugar, it recommends quite a bit. I used a fraction of that but only because it just needed a bit of balance. I was going to leave it out completely.

Put this on on your easy bbq salads list!

Last-minute change of plans for dinner tonight decided I had less time than I realised and looked for something quick. I had a frozen packet of tortellini (the recipe does specify fresh however I went ahead haha) seems pretty good to me!
Layered cooking so it’s an only one dish with a half an hour stint to go and get my son showered jammies!
I love this quick all in one pasta dish!

Using the versatile pizza dough to make both sweet and savoury scrolls. Perfect for lunch boxes or freezer snacks etc.
Can easily double this recipe and pick whatever fillings you feel like.

Whole Egg mayonnaise semi Japanese style, plus curry mayo!
Really a lot cheaper than buying it from the store plus you can change the flavour however you like, I don’t think I’ve actually seen curry mayo for sale!

Here’s one of the mango sauces I’ve been making with my ridiculously hot Yellow Butlah chilli’s from the garden.

This recipe simply throws everything in, Is cooked, then blitzed for 30 seconds on speed 10, the n “pasteurised” and bottled into hot bottles to make it shelf stable. The thermomix makes it so easy to keep and eye on the temperature for pasteurising (cook it for 20 mins at 100 degrees).

It also lessens the handling of the chilli’s (I use gloves for these ones) and keeps the eye watering fumes mostly contained!

I love making these and giving them to family and friends 🥰
