With a follow up thermal spotting session in the evening after taking 2 foxes at 4am … 8pm seen another 2 foxes in the same field as the earlier 2.
Here is 1 that also looked to be feeding some older cubs.
We will keep thermal checks all week as we hope to catch the younger foxes wandering from dens in search of food.
It’s quite unusaul for this many foxes to habit such a small area but with the development in our regions all species are forced to confine. Over all there was 1 boy and 3 girls taken, an indication on how quickly the populations can explode without positive pest managements practices in place.

Fox Season Starting

Bagged this pair from our own backyard at 4am in the morning.

As you can see, momma fox has been denned up with a litter and is now heading out to find food sources to teach pups to hunt.

We will be out again later tonight to hopfully bag the litter when they eventually venture out in search of food with no knowledge how.

Now is the time to protect live stock and head count daily. They are leaving dens hungry and keen to teach young ones the ropes.

Got a call late this afternoon from a local farmer we have recently been working with to assist in a feral pig problem with a sighting of a decent mob feeding.

As this was part of our monitoring plan we were more than happy to pack up the fam and head out to assist.

After some quick scout and planning work with the thermal minocular, the .223 made quick work of 2 large sows (1 pregnant) and a suckling, allowing swift actions to snap up the most part of a litter of fresh piglets 🤠.

We now share the joy of hand raising some baby piglets which the kids are more than happy to exercise thier right to love and cuddle cute things 🤩

We will continue to work with the land owner and neighbouring properties to establish an ongoing management plan for the various pests onsite.

Its been a busy afternoon and into the evening for us with a new customer call to cull some pest pigeon numbers.

Then back home to check if any foxes were out and about. Behold, this pregnant vixen showed herself and quickly came running to calls. The Howa 1500 Mini .223 made quick work at a 200m shot on a dark night 👌🏽.

As lambing season is ramping up and fox denning season starting, the cross over will soon be more of a problem for farmers. Please reach out if you feel our services is something you have been looking for to assist in reducing the risk to stock loss this season 🤗.

Thanks for supporting local small business, this allows us to get out and assist land owners safely and effectively manage pest animals ☺️
Responded to community upset of recent sightings of wild dogs/dingos hanging off livestock and getting too close to family homes in the lockyer valley. Headed out as arranged with the land owner and safely euthanised 2 male dogs and a fox.
Using latest tech in thermal to easily spot these animals in denser materials made the job at lot easier picking up our target pests 🤗.
We will continue to work with owners where we can to assist in keeping these pests controlled and managed.
