I have always had a productive garden from the birth of my first child as I felt it was a necessity for making sure my children have a healthy balanced diet of the freshes produce. By the time baby number 5 came along my gardens had grown to the stage that I could start to turn all my hard work into a small business and that is when Meriki's Home Made was developed. anian owned and operated. Produces 8 different products ranging from Jams, Chutneys, and Pickles. We grow 90% of our own produce with the remaining sourced from local orchards. If I run out of a product there are times when I have to purchase from a wholesaler, this normally only occurs with cucumbers and tomatoes.

As I have recently stated,
"If I don't grow it then I don't produce that variety of product anymore"
That is why some varieties no longer exist under my label.
In saying that, this year would have to be one of my worst years for fruit production.
Yes the weather/seasons have contributed to this issue big time.
So, there will definitely be a huge reduction in Jam production this year.
I apologise in advance and will be having talks with oneself about the direction I plan on taking Meriki's Home Made product varieties.
There are multiple things I have to take into consideration....time, cost, effort, physical health and our other small businesses.
Thank you for understanding and I will keep you informed of my outcome/decision.

Over the last 2 days we have been doing a restock and have had the aromas of Raspberry Jam, Loganberry Jam, Strawberry Jam, Blackcurrant Jam and Tomato Chutney drifting through the house.
