We’re pretty proud of this one.

Inspire9 was recently featured by Business Victoria in its article exploring why coworking spaces are popular.

After 18 years of coworking in Melbourne, we’ve learned that it’s about much more than having a desk. It’s the people you meet, the conversations that happen naturally, and being part of a community while you work.

Inspire9, Melbourne's original coworking space in Richmond, hosted seven French creative industries companies for the ICC Immersion Australia Program 2025 networking and pitching sessions.

On 23 May, Inspire9 Richmond hosted the Southern Hemisphere's first Claude Impact Lab.

50+ developers, founders, and builders spent the day working on real AI problems in the same heritage building where Melbourne's startup community has been coming to work since 2008.

Team Good Sh*t took out the overall win. Their project, along with the top 3 teams, is now heading to Anthropic for real consideration.

A massive thank you to Rye Smith for bringing this to Melbourne, to Martine Nilsen from Anthropic for opening the day, and to every mentor, judge, and participant who made it what it was.

Saturday was special. 🚀

50+ builders, Inspire9 Workspace, Southern Hemisphere’s first Claude Impact Lab.

Teams showed up with ideas. They left with working solutions. Team Good Sh*t took out the win and they’re getting their work reviewed by this week!

But the real win? Watching developers, founders, and AI builders come together at Inspire9 Workspace and actually solve problems.

We’re now the home of Claude Community Australia events in Melbourne. More of this coming.

Great conversations, strong community, and a room full of curious minds.

Last month, we hosted the Claude Code Community Event at Inspire9 Richmond, bringing together developers, AI practitioners, and tech professionals from across Melbourne.

Hearing directly from Boris Cherny, creator of Claude Code, and seeing community members share how they’re using AI in real-world projects made for an engaging and inspiring evening.

We’re proud to support events that prioritise learning, connection, and genuine in-person interaction.
