A big shout-out to Trafalgar Garden & Hire for lending us their Shapescaper steel planters; our trees looked amazing!

They are easy to install, look amazing, have a 10-year warranty and are Australian-made. They added a special touch to our site at Lardner Park's Garden & Home Expo over the weekend.

It was a great two days of sunshine, catching up with customers, and meeting new people.

We absolutely love our local community, and talking about trees and sustainability makes us super happy.

TREE TUESDAY!

We’re up and about here at Urban Tree Growers!

We could talk cricket, or we could talk Bathurst and old mate running out of fuel 😂 But today, we want to get around the mighty Eliud Kipchoge… the marathon man himself! 🏃‍♂️ What a performance at the Melbourne Marathon on the weekend!

Strong, fit and built for the long run — a bit like these Capital Pears. Fast-growing, reliable and always a good performer. 🌳

And how good was that 15mm of rain yesterday? The trees are loving it, the grass is loving it, and we’re certainly not complaining!

Have a ripper day, everyone! 👌

Autumn Blaze or Claret Ash for your driveway?

It’s a hard choice when both put on such a beautiful autumn show! Would you go for the deep burgundy tones of Claret Ash or the brilliant red of Autumn Blaze?

If you're planning a driveway planting, send us a photo of your space and we’ll help you find the right trees for it.

Tree Tuesday 🌳🏆

What an unbelievable AFL Grand Final on the weekend!

Freo looked like they had it, then the Brisbane Lions came charging in and snatched the cup away. What a game!

And today’s trees are giving us the same three-peat energy — these beautiful Moss White Birch are standing tall and looking the goods, just like the Brisbane boys. 🦁🌳

A beautiful deciduous tree for gardens, streetscapes and larger landscapes, with plenty of character and seasonal appeal.

Have a ripper Tuesday!
