TEAM 26

Over the final 2 weeks of this years program, the participants have demonstrated remarkable growth in every aspect of the program, from developing their aims and objectives to building resilience, workplace skills, values, and expectations. Whether handling tasks such as walking and drafting cattle, servicing machinery, or repairing fences, they have consistently given their best effort. Despite challenging weather conditions throughout the program, they have completed every task with a positive attitude and a sense of accomplishment. As this journey comes to a close, we commend them for their dedication, perseverance, and willingness to exceed expectations, and we wish them every success as they take the next step into working life within the pastoral industry. Week 2 - Team 26 @ Burks Park WA

The participants carried out stock handling, which included drafting and processing cattle. They completed 2.5km of new fence-line for a horse paddock, which included welding assemblies, driving in star pickets, running out wire, and putting droppers in.
They have all continued to grow their confidence in handling horses and carrying out some w**d management, as well as mechanical tasks such as servicing graders, 4wds, motorbikes, and other minor repairs as needed on the property.
Classroom tasks have included workplace behaviours, communication in the workplace, family, community and personal values, as well as completing a First Aid course in Hall Creek with NRTAFE.

Team 26 will now head over to Mistake Creek Station to complete their final 4 weeks.
