Glazit has been established since May 1981 and first started out as Mark's Glass and Leadlights in South Rockhampton. The name was changed and the position changed to North Rockhampton in1995 and remains there. Mark has run many leadlight leisure classed throughout Central Queensland in TAFE colleges, secondary schools, and privately. Many of the students have gone on to make their own projects, a

nd even start their own businesses as a result of these workshops
Here is where people can catch up with other students of the leadlight or mosaic crafts, or any glass craft at all. Problems and issues can be solved, photos of finished projects can be displayed, and courses that are available can be put on the event calender.

I made this leadlight over 25 years ago. It has been removed from the house, and I made a frame so it could hang anywhere. It is still in lovely condition after being through cyclones and hail storms. This will remain a family heirloom for a long time to come.
