🏃‍♀️🏆 What a Fantastic School Sports Day! 🏆🏃‍♂️

What an incredible day of energy, teamwork, and school spirit! 🎉 Our recent Sports Day was filled with exciting races, enthusiastic cheers, determined athletes, and plenty of memorable moments.

A huge congratulations to all our students for giving their best, supporting one another, and showing such fantastic sportsmanship. 👏💪

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Azure Minerals, Greentree Ngaliya Civil & Fencing, Mawarnkarra TIS, Rio Tinto, PCYC and the Roebourne Fire Brigade for their generous support and assistance with our Sports Carnival. Your contributions, time and commitment helped make the day a successful and enjoyable event for everyone involved. 🏆

Book Week Celebrations 📚✨🤩😎

On Tuesday, 25 August, we held our annual Book Week celebrations, complete with another amazing costume parade and reading picnic!

Every student took the time to dress up, with a huge helping hand from our wonderful CCS team. A massive thank you to the Roebourne Op Shop for generously donating the costumes — the kids absolutely loved them!

We saw an incredible range of characters and costumes, including butterflies, aliens, superheroes, Where’s Wally, and even a special appearance from Michael Jackson! 🦋👽🦸‍♀️

We also had some amazing costume winners. A special mention to those who created awesome costumes themselves, their creativity was fantastic!

We had Miss Elle cheering the crowd on and doing a wonderful job introducing all of our fabulous characters.

It was a wonderful morning filled with books, imagination and plenty of smiles. A huge thank you to everyone who helped make our Book Week celebration so special! 💙🩷🧡💛💚💜🩵

The year 1/2 class learnt about how music and sound reach their ears today. 🎶👂 We learnt sound travels better through tables and water than air. 🌊🔊 Noah and his classmates got first hand experience of that! 🧑‍🔬✨🙌

📚🚓🚨Special Guests🚨👮🏽🚓📚

During Book Week, we were very lucky to welcome some very special guests to our school to read to our younger students.

On Monday and Wednesday, Senior Sergeant Womersley and Constables Tom and Fraser from our local Police Station visited to share some wonderful stories with our Kindy, Pre-Primary and Year 1 students.

The excitement and enthusiasm from our students was fantastic! They were thrilled to meet our local Police Officers and listen to them read. I’m sure our special guests enjoyed the experience just as much as our students did!

A huge thank you to Senior Sergeant Womersley, Constable Tom and Constable Fraser for taking the time to join us for Book Week. 📚👮‍♂️👮‍♀️ We loved having you!
