A little throwback to this one for Roma Tilt Trucks 💜

Truck graphics like this take a fair bit of work to get right. Everything has to line up properly, sit where it should, and work with the shape of the truck.

There’s plenty of measuring, checking and careful fitting along the way, but that’s what it takes to get a clean result. We reckon this one came up a treat!

A couple of weeks ago what started as a straightforward sign swap turned into a much bigger job. Once we pulled the frame apart, we found extensive rust that needed cutting out, replacing and reinforcing before the new signage could go back up.... Three days later, a much stronger frame and a finished result we’re proud of. 😉

For us, it’s someone who likes people, enjoys a bit of variety and takes pride in doing things well. A big part of what we do is understanding what our clients actually need, building strong relationships and finding practical solutions that work for them. We’re always looking for ways to improve, and because we’re a small team, everyone plays a part in keeping things moving.

A little while back, Injune Hospital asked us to help transform a large besser block fire wall into something that better reflected the local area. The result was this 4m x 2m piece, laser cut from aluminium, powder coated black and mounted on standoffs, with the design inspired by Mount Hutton near Injune.

This photo is from the Governor of Queensland’s recent visit to Injune Multipurpose Health Service, and it was great to see the finished piece sitting proudly in the background.

There was plenty of work behind the scenes to get this one from an idea to the finished result, so a big thank you to the team at Injune Hospital for trusting us with the project and for their patience while we worked through all the details. Definitely one we’re proud to have been part of. 👍

TTHE SIGNASAURUS PROCESS

Part 2: Built for the conditions

It’s starting to warm up again, ☀️and in Western Queensland that means signage cops a fair bit! Take a sign like this one at The Big Rig. It’s sitting out there day after day dealing with sun, heat, dust, wind and whatever else the weather throws at it.

That’s why material choice matters. Some materials will hold up better than others depending on where the sign is going, how much sun it gets, whether it’s exposed to the weather, how it’s lit and how long you want it to last. What works fine indoors might not be the best option outside, and what suits one job might not suit the next.

We’ll always look at the conditions first, then recommend the material and finish that best suits the job. Because a sign should still look good long after the day it goes up.

We always appreciate hearing that we've done a good job, and this was a lovely review to receive.

For a small business like ours, taking a couple of minutes to leave a Google or Facebook review really does help. It lets other people know what we're like to work with and helps them feel a little more confident when choosing who to trust with their signage.

We’ve had some pretty fun jobs come through the Signasaurus workshop… and the Minion Mover would have to be up there! 💛💙

We recently had the pleasure of helping the Humphreys family get their Variety Bash vehicles looking the part before they hit the road.

The Variety Bash is all about raising funds to support Queensland kids who are sick, disadvantaged or living with disability, and the Minion Mover team is doing their bit to help raise as much as they can along the way.

We were very happy to play a small part in getting them Bash-ready!
