LSA Demolition has been mobiled towards later half of 2025 in Mt Isa, upon completion of Asbestos Strip Outs, our crew commenced the demolition works for Hutchinson Builders to deliver this stage of the project.

A solid effort from the crew to get in, get it done, and keep everything running smoothly 👷‍♂️

Special mention to our machine operators who work tirelessly in high-risk environments, safely and skilfully knocking things over day in, day out — your work doesn’t go unnoticed 💪

We’ll be remobilising back to site following the Easter break to kick off the next stage of works — ready to do it all again.

🗺️ Location - BOONDOOMBA DAM

The LSA Demolition crew recently wrapped up an asbestos strip-out of the bunkhouse at Boondooma Dam — and this one came with a race against the weather.

With significant rain events rolling in and road closures looming, the team pushed hard to get the job completed safely and efficiently, making it out just in time before access was cut off ⛈️🚧

Remote location, tight timeframes — just another day for this crew on the job.

As always, the job was completed to the highest safety standards, with no compromises and no shortcuts.

CRAWFO’S TYRES - making way for something new!

This past two weeks, LSA Demolition Pty Ltd commenced works on the Crawford Tyres block for Cherry Builders, carrying out asbestos removal and demolition works to allow for new construction.

An opportunity of a project in our home town of Roma, Southwest Queensland, is always exciting for our small business 🙌🏻

There’s something special about being able to deliver projects right here at home — working with local businesses, supporting the community, and showcasing what local crews can achieve together. 💪

This project kicked off with the safe removal of a super six asbestos roof, followed by the demolition of the existing shed, with removal of the concrete slab to finish.

LSA Demolition Pty Ltd has recently been hard at work completing a full internal strip-out of the old Sarina Hospital, clearing the path for its upcoming refurbishment.

This project also included a small amount of asbestos removal works, carried out safely and in line with all regulations, ensuring the site is clean, compliant, and ready for its next stage.

Due to a continuing growth of work, LSA Demolition Pty Ltd is expanding our team and currently has multiple positions available.

We are a family-owned and operated business specialising in Demolition and Asbestos Removal projects throughout Queensland. If you’re hands-on, reliable, and open to travelling for work, we’d love to hear from you.

Positions to Fill include;
• Labourers
• Asbestos Removalists
• Machine Operators
• HC Licensed Truck Driver

What We Offer

Desirable Requirements

Applicants should already hold or be willing to quickly obtain:
• Construction White Card
• MR, HR or HC Driver Licence
• Ability to pass a ‘Fit for Work’ medical

Highly Regarded (but not essential):
• Asbestos Class B Licence
• Asbestos Supervisor Licence
• Certificate III in Demolition
• Working with Children (Blue Card)
• Tickets such as Skid Steer, Excavator, EWP, Working at Heights, Chainsaw
• Basic machine knowledge for general maintenance

We’d love to employ more Roma based employees, however, Brisbane FIFO options also available due to work locations being across QLD.

Successful Applicants Must Be

✔ Able to provide a reference
✔ A reliable team player with strong communication skills
✔ Knowledgeable in WHS requirements
✔ Physically fit for demanding work
✔ Dependable and safety-focused
