Our underground operation reaches depths of more than 1.5 kilometres from the surface.

This year, MMG Rosebery marks 90 years of continuous operation - a milestone few mines in the world can claim.

From the moment the mill started up in 1936, this operation has stood the test of time through the incredible people who've called Rosebery home.

MMG Rosebery is proud to once again support community literacy.

We've sponsored the purchase of copies of the 2026 Simultaneous Storytime book - a wonderful initiative that brings students together through the shared joy of reading.

Students at Rosebery District School and St Joseph's Catholic Primary School have each received copies of Luna Roo: the Kangaroo Baller by Adam Jackson and Adrian Lloyd, illustrated by Jake Minton.

It's a privilege to invest in the next generation of readers right here in our community.

MMG Rosebery isn't the only one marking a significant milestone this year - the Rosebery Toorak Football Club is also celebrating the 40th anniversary of the merger of the Rosebery Saints and Toorak Tigers.

To honour the occasion, MMG Rosebery sponsored the purchase of Heritage Jumpers for the club.

Our Emergency Response Team (ERT) members are a crucial part of our site operations.

As part of their ongoing commitment to keeping our site safe, ERT volunteers recently completed defensive fire attack training under the Certificate III in Emergency Response program.

Training involved simulating underground fire conditions and practising defensive fire manoeuvres using BA Pro air units - demanding scenarios that put their skills to the test.

This is what readiness looks like. Our ERT members give their time voluntarily, showing up not just for MMG, but for the broader community around us.

Last night we hosted an information session in Burnie, bringing together stakeholders from across the North West Coast to share an update on the locations we are exploring for a long-term tailings storage solution.

As we celebrate 90 years of continuous operation in 2026, this work is critical to securing Rosebery Mine's future, for 100 years and beyond.

The ripple effect of Rosebery reaches far and wide. Many of our people live on the North West Coast, spending their wages locally. We have a supply chain that stretches across the state, as well as employees working out of our Burnie office - providing valuable flexibility for team members who don't need to be on site every day.

Thank you to everyone who came along, asked questions, and engaged with us. Your input matters as we work through this important process.
