One of the quickest paths to misunderstandings in your workplace is to assume that the behaviour we observe in others (and that others observe of us) exists in isolation. But this behaviour is a result of our own personalities, our styles and preferences and how they show up at work or in our relationships. Understanding your own styles and those of others is key to harnessing every interaction.
