The weight of your glasses might seem like a small detail, but the effect of heavy eyewear can be overwhelming.

Think about your morning…you put your glasses on and you leave them there until the end of the day. There’s no thought about the weight of those glasses.

Feeling truly honoured to have venEyes featured in Inside Small Business. ✨

A big thank you to Tim Lidhas for sharing the venEyes story — including the journey, the challenges, the technology behind what we do, and what it takes to build a new eyewear concept as a small Australian business.

From exploring advanced 3D printing technology to developing lightweight, fashion-led eyewear, the journey has involved a lot of research, investment, persistence and learning along the way.

My passion has always been in emerging technology and finding ways to use it to solve real problems and improve people’s everyday lives. Seeing that vision reflected in this article is incredibly meaningful.

I’m grateful for the opportunity to share the story behind venEyes and some of the challenges of building something different in the eyewear industry.

It was wonderful having Paulina visit our Rouse Hill store and try on different frame styles. And honestly, it didn’t take long… just three minutes to find the pair she loved! ❤️
