We’re currently delivering a building services upgrade at Anglicare’s laundry facility in Sydney—bringing together Platinum Electricians and JetBlack Plumbers as one coordinated team.

Working within a live, operational environment, this project involves upgrading critical infrastructure to support new and relocated equipment—without interrupting day-to-day operations.

Key to success has been:

Hot Water Plant Upgrade Completed

Our team recently delivered a full commercial hot water system upgrade for a large national retail facility, improving reliability, capacity, and long-term performance.

Scope of works included:

✅ Complete on-site risk assessment prior to works
✅ Supply & installation of 3 new Thermex PAWT-500L30-2 hot water storage tanks
✅ Twin coil design allowing for future solar thermal integration
✅ Connection into the existing plumbing manifold for seamless changeover
✅ Installation of 2 x 10kW heating elements per tank for high-demand performance
✅ Supply & installation of a new controller with separate temperature sensor to modulate heating efficiently
✅ Coordination with electrical trades for safe disconnect/reconnect
✅ Full testing, commissioning, and system verification on completion

This upgrade ensures the site has a dependable, scalable hot water solution ready for both current demand and future energy efficiency improvements.
