I feel it's that time again to alert mainly newcomers to the island about our postal system.
If you have bought land, if you are building on land, or even in a house - if you DO NOT have a mailbox, you will NOT receive your mail 🤔 Sounds simple BUT there are dozens of letters being returned to sender due to 2 main reasons -
1. Vacant land
2. No letterbox
If you have vacant land, please send your mail to your actual residential address. Rates, and other notices are NOT being delivered to you.
If you don't have a letterbox, consider leasing one of our PO Boxes.
Note: Care of (c/o) the post is not an option.

Today I would like to share with you one of the latest scams being sent via text message. 😡
PLEASE only use the Australia Post app to track your letters/parcels. 🙏 Australia Post WILL NOT send links for you to click. If there is a link, DO NOT CLICK IT. 🙏 DO NOT ENTER YOUR INFORMATION! 🙏
The craziest thing is when people show me these messages and want to know where their parcel is, but they haven't ordered anything! Please be vigilant - tell your elderly neighbour who isn't on FB about these scams. 🙏
Also, tell them that people who are calling them or texting them to purchase Apple Cards (or other gift cards), that it is a SCAM. 😡
It's scary and they are getting better and better at this especially with the elderly and vulnerable. 😡
