PAPER BRICKS 🧱
The Good - A great way of reusing unwanted paper it keeps paper out of landfill and can be used as fuel for your fire.
The Bad - they do create more ash and you definitely want to avoid making them from high gloss paper or paper with coloured ink or glue on it as the fumes can be toxic.

The bricks we have made so far are only using standard paper with black ink and we have mixed pine saw dust in with them so they are a cleaner and longer burn.

We will be making some bricks over the summer months as they take a long time to dry out so let us know if you want any for your 2027 winter fires 🔥

Hi there 👋🏼 it’s been a minute! We have a busy day ahead of us tomorrow with Flynn’s Bins but we have been a bit quiet lately. I blame the colder weather! 🌦️

Flynn had a great day in Nowra today, enjoying lunch by the Shoalhaven River after doing a drop off of shredded paper to finsfangsnfeathersnowra. Another switch out of bins for the team at bcrcommunities and then it was to head home and start shredding.

We’re coming to the end of the financial year so let us know if you need a Flynn’s bin to help clean up your paperwork! Free of charge we drop a bin off and pick it up and all that pesky paperwork is gone!

May was spent dropping off Flynn’s bins and then exploring places we haven’t been before! Lots of footy games, cooking, bowling and ripping up paper of course! Flynn and his support workers went to the ATSA Disability Expo and looked at all the new equipment, looking for his next set of wheels! 🦽

If you need a bin on a regular basis we can leave one with you and you just message us when it’s full. Leave it at your front door and we will swap it out for an empty one! Too easy!

It’s been a busy month so we’ve been a little quiet online but Flynny is still working on his shredding and we are very happy to have some steady clients. So much so that we are planning to get more bins! Drop us a message and we can drop a bin to your home or business on a Monday or Wednesday. The best thing is it’s a free service and you don’t even need to be at home to make it happen!

Today, Flynn picked up a bin from The Sensory studio and donated more shredded paper to the Bally patch.
He also did a few shredding shifts this afternoon. Go Flynn!
