Hi Everyone,

I’d like to take a moment to thank Bones.

What Bones has built with Oz BSA Bantams over the years is something truly remarkable. It’s been more than just bikes; it’s been a community, a passion, and a place where so many people have shared knowledge, stories, friendships, and a love for these incredible little machines.

Bones, your dedication, hard work, and passion have helped keep the Bantam spirit alive for so many enthusiasts across Australia and beyond, thank you for everything you’ve done, the time you’ve given, and the legacy you leave behind.

As you move into retirement, i wish you nothing but happiness and plenty of riding time,

At the same time, I’m incredibly excited to be stepping into the next chapter as the new owner of Oz BSA Bantams. I understand how important this community is, and I want to reassure our customers that the same level of service Oz BSA Bantams has provided in the past will not change.

The support, knowledge, and dedication that people have come to know will continue. I’m committed to building on the strong foundation Bones has created while also bringing fresh energy and exciting opportunities for the future.

Hi all........

On July 1st the operation and ownership of Oz BSA Bantams will transfer to Josh Dekaste. Josh and I have been working behind the scenes for a while to ensure there is a seamless transition of the business ownership to minimise impact on our customer base. I will cease trading on Friday the 12th June and the website payment portal will be deactivated to facilitate logistical and administrative transfer of ownership. Oz BSA Bantams will relocate to WA, where Josh intends to resume trading on the 1st of July all going well.

Josh is well known to many in the Bantam world and has an extensive knowledge of Bantams and other BSA models. Josh as many will know has been trading in Bantam parts for many years and brings this knowledge base to Oz BSA Bantams. I will be providing support to Josh during this transition.

I will continue manufacturing Bones CDI's and other unique components to supply Josh and Oz BSA Bantams. These parts and components have ensured Oz BSA Bantams is a world leader in the supply of parts for BSA Bantams. I will no longer undertake customer repair work as I enter into retirement.

I would also like to take this opportunity to thank the BSA Bantam community for supporting Oz BSA Bantams since its inception by Gary Arnall in 2010. It's now been 17 years and is still going strong with a bright future ahead in Josh's more than capable hands. Without a supportive customer base you can't operate a business.

So thank you!

regards,

Bones

I have some items back in stock I haven't had for a while. A new batch of Bones CDI's has been completed so I have BCDI-2 to suit the D5/D7's back in stock. I also have a very small number of gear selector shafts available. We are also in production of the front mudguard stays and the larger 54T and 60T sprockets. These should be available in a couple of weeks.

Haven't posted anything for a while as we have been flat out building our bikes for the vintage bike races at Sellick's beach in South Australia. Justin and I have built 2 dedicated bikes for the event which has taken a lot of man hours. Bikes have been built up from our 2nd hand parts, obviously with new parts where appropriate. We only finished them yesterday, so we are cutting it fine as I'm leaving on Friday for a slow road trip over to have a bit of a break. Bikes include the modified barrel and head I cast and machined, plus a lot of other mods as you can see in the pictures. We are happy with the end result.

Hi all.........There has been heaps happening at Oz Bantams. firstly we have developed some new parts we now have in stock in conjunction with our spring manufacturers ASI Springs in Drouin. ASI manufacture our clutch springs (to our specs) and have also been able to develop the 90-55 & 90-51 spring clips that are used on the gearchange selector shaft.

We are also developing the gearchange indicator lever for the rigid D1's, D3/D5 swingarm chain adjusters 29-6313 and the front mudguard clip for the deep valanced guards on the early bikes 90-6507. These wont be available straight away as we have to design and develop bending jigs and fixtures to complete the manufacture.

We also have back in stock the 8 spring clutch upgrade system. These as last time will come supplied with an additional 2 spring cups as well as 8 new springs. We have also been able to reduce the price of these by nearly 30%. We will also have another 2 sets of front forks with bushes arriving this week. If you want a set let us know by email. First in first served!

We also have a production run of CDI's in progress at the moment, so if you are waiting on a unit they should be available in a couple of weeks, so just keep an eye on the website.

Additionally to this we have an engine arriving today for rebuild and we are progressing the highly modified Bantams we intend to race at Sellicks Beach next year. If you are interested in seeing the progress of the bikes, just have a look at my youtube channel Tony "Bones" Farmer.

Well I'm back from holidays and back into it. Justin has done a great job in my absence, but now it is time to get some Sellicks Beach race bikes built. I've been concentrating on the front end at the moment and have cast some triple clamps for the modified front end we are going to fit. If you are interested to see how we did this, follow the link to see how I cast these.

Hi all. All the forks are now sold out.
Regards,
Justin

Starting to get stuff together for our Sellick's Beach bikes for next year. I had the Walsh head off last years engine 3D scanned so I could print it out on a 3D printer to use as a pattern so I can cast it. Now it's time to make up some casting boxes and get a few of these cast. No I won't be making these available commercially as there is just way too much work to make it viable.
