There are quite a lot of special effects that you can use to enhance your label, like printing a colour over a silver stock to produce gold and silver metallic images without the expense of having to pay for foiling blocks etc. Perhaps a spot varnish may enhance certain areas of your label

Direct-to-can printing changes the way beverage packaging is created.

Instead of designing a label that will eventually be applied to a can, the can itself becomes the finished piece of packaging with the artwork printed directly onto the aluminium surface.

That opens up a different way of thinking about design.

Typography, fine detail, colour and the natural metallic character of the can can all become part of the creative concept rather than simply sitting on top of it.

For independent brewers and beverage producers, it means packaging can feel more considered, more integrated and more like an extension of the product inside.
