Today marks history for JTA as we recognize our new and first ever female Australian champion, .jta for winning the WKBF Light Flyweight belt 🏆
Madi worked really hard since joining JTA and has achieved this accolade in less than a year with us.
This shows that all the hard work has paid off to reach this goal and if your heart is in it, the right attitude, determination and discipline you can achieve anything.

Evolution, Legacy, and New Horizons at JTA 🥊

What started as a hobby has grown into a globally respected Muay Thai fight club. Today, we are proud to share our next major milestone.

We have officially aligned our training curriculum with our deep roots by implementing the unique Lee Gar Striking System, with special authority from our Senior Lollo Heimuli . This honours the legacy started by Sifu Phillip Lam in 1975, which Coach Jojo has been a part of since age 14.

To support this growth, JTA is restructuring to continue to evolve. This change may not be accepted by some of our old students which is all part of the journey. However we are very grateful for those who want to support us to take JTA to the next level 🧡

This allows Coach Jojo to expand his impact as a fight official under the ISKA Australia sanction. We extend our deepest gratitude to ISKA Australasia President Jeff Bullock for entrusting us with this opportunity 🙏🏻

Demonstrating this new role, Coach Jojo debuted last night as an ISKA Supervisor at Battle at Yeppoon. His diverse background as a world champion, coach, referee, and nursing background proved invaluable when he assisted the ringside medical team during a main-emergency.

Thank you to our community for standing by us as we redefine JTA’s future! 🙏✨
