๐Healing the patient has become replaced with treating the patient with a pill for an ill!! This change in terminology implies that the patientโs problems are permanent, but the symptoms may be controlled with a lifetime of ever-increasing drugs and blood tests.
Patients need an approach which embraces healing by addressing the root cause of their problems, rather than perpetually trimming the leaves of their symptoms.

Having been a nurse and seen the effects of drugs on patients I was so disillusioned with this approach and found myself looking for alternatives with a more holistic approach to my family's health and wellness.

After working with an integrative health practitioner for 12 months I was clear of those pesky symptoms that were making me so unhappy.
I have fully healed myself from the debilitating, painful perimenopausal symptoms through functional lab testing, giving my body the nutrients and minerals it was lacking, changed up the exercise I was doing and invested in me for the long haul.
If you do not make time for your wellness, you will be forced to make time for your illness, harsh but true. I saw so much illness when I was a nurse that I decided back in my late 20's that I never wanted to be that way.
