Yesterday, Scarborough Marina was proud to host the Marine Jobs Industry Immersion Day, welcoming 45 students from three schools across the Redcliffe Peninsula for a hands-on introduction to careers in the marine industry.
Students explored 10 interactive stations, meeting local marine businesses, TAFE, MEGT, training organisations and the Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service, gaining valuable insight into the diverse career pathways and training opportunities available within our industry.
The day concluded with a live Travelift and Dry Stack demonstration by the Scarborough Marina team, showcasing the scale and diversity of modern marina operations.
A sincere thank you to Marine Jobs for partnering with us on this initiative, and to all the businesses and organisations who generously shared their time, knowledge and expertise. We are proud to play our part in this collaborative initiative to help inspire and develop the next generation of marine industry professionals.
