Quarry Plant Operator - opportunity
Hunter Lime is looking for a reliable and motivated person to join our small team at our Limestone Quarry located at Timor, NSW.
The successful applicant will initially operate a front-end loader and articulated dump truck. As their skills develop, training will be provided to operate the fixed crushing and screening plant
Key duties
Operating a front-end loader and dump truck
Assisting with basic plant maintenance and housekeeping
Following all site safety and environmental procedures
Learning to operate the fixed processing plant
About you
Previous quarry, mining, earthmoving or heavy-machinery experience will be highly valued; however, training can be provided for the right person.
You will need to be:
Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious
Willing to learn and take on additional responsibilities
Comfortable working independently and as part of a small team
Mechanically minded and willing to assist with basic maintenance
The holder of a current driver’s licence
Relevant machinery tickets or competencies are desirable.
