Hi, I'm Liz Van Vliet. I do this through online and face to face training and coaching. Welcome to my page for Being Indispensable. I'm Liz.

I help Executive Assistants develop their strategic thinking and leadership skills and improving their ‘power’ (often referred to as ‘soft’) skills. Being Indispensable is a podcast for Executive Assistants and anyone who wants to learn what it takes to be seen as indispensable. For EA's it's about building a partnership with your executive. It's a mindset shift. I seek to bring you interviews wit

Thanks for a wonderful planning day yesterday…I left feeling energised and motivated to make 2026 a year to be proud of.
2025 hasn’t been challenging and I’ve questioned if I have reached the end of my business journey.
But spending a day with Michelle and being in a room that felt like such a safe space has reinvigorated me.
Bring on 2026.

It might be a cold and bleak day here in London but my heart is warm because yesterday I got to spend the day and the fabulous European Operations team of EAs and PAs for .

There were assistants from London, Leeds, Glasgow, Dublin, Milan, Brussels, Paris, Munich and Barcelona and they were ALL fabulous!

My heart is full to the brim...I love what I do and even more, I love the assistants I get to serve. 🥰❤️

We workshop a challenge and everyone offers their advice and I then start by asking some clarifying questions and get to the core issue or challenge.
We invariably end with me offering up an approach or framework to try

Healing well and sporting a cold sore which always strike when I’m unwell so no wonder it appeared 🤣
Looking forward to rescheduling all the sessions and meetings I had to postpone.

So pumped to meet in person last week during her visit to wet and wintery Sydney 😂❤️👍🏻

We have known each other virtually ever since I read Jo’s fabulous book ‘Woman of Influence: 9 Steps to Build Your Brand, Establish Your Legacy, and Thrive’.

Jo was an interview guest on my podcast and this week I celebrated her as one of my top ten favourite episodes 👏🏻❤️🥰
