Many of our furry friends find the noise and flashes of fireworks very distressing.

Close curtains and turn the television or radio on; ensure they have a safe hiding place. Classic FM’s Pet Classics, returns from 7pm on 31 December, for three hours of soothing classical music followed by Calm Classics, to keep everyone happy and relaxed into the early hours.

Alternatively, if they would rather be with you, let them - fear is an emotion, not a behaviour, so comforting them DOES NOT reinforce their fear.

My company does quite a lot of business with you and yet today, I bought a reasonable amount of items including a monitor from your clearance floor stock, and you couldn’t even find something to protect the screen for transport
