This article taps into some of what the AAAC has been steering consideration and business approaches towards, at last year’s Outlook Conference and among the professional development for members.

What preparedness is necessary for farmers, families and commercial businesses? How prepared is the agricultural sector for things noted in this article such as:

- clean energy investment trends moving faster than many people realise
- the leap in fossil fuel prices and instability with geopolitical oil markets
- rapid (article uses ‘explosive’) uptake of electric vehicles which is beginning to have a serious impact on transport emissions
- transmission infrastructure for green power requiring strategic planning with rural and regional communities that would bear the brunt of the deployment of all this new infrastructure.

What else do you think should be considered about impacts, opportunities and business planning for agriculture?

Add your comment to the conversation below 👇

2023 might prove to be the year in which the world began deploying clean energy technology at a pace fast enough to meet the climate change threat.
