We are currently seeking a few casual, part time or full time motivated and professional Retail Security Officers to join the State 1 Security team. You will be responsible for maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment at one of our retail sites in Bendigo 📍

There will be morning shifts and afternoon shifts, 7 days per week - Monday to Sunday.

➡️ 7:00AM - 12:00PM
➡️ 3:15PM - 10:15PM

This role requires a balance of strong security awareness and excellent customer service skills.

✅ Key Responsibilities:
- Provide a strong and visible security presence to deter theft and anti-social behaviour
- Monitor customer activity and identify suspicious behaviour
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises
- Perform loss prevention duties, including theft detection and reporting
- Respond to incidents, conflicts, and emergencies in a calm and professional manner
- Liaise with store management, staff, and emergency services when required
- Conduct bag checks in accordance with store policies
- Complete accurate incident reports and daily activity logs
- Deliver a high level of customer service while maintaining security standards

✅ Requirements:
- Current Victorian Security Licence (mandatory)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to de-escalate conflict professionally
- Reliable, punctual, and well-presented
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Availability for flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays
- Previous retail security or loss prevention experience (highly regarded)
