The team at Specific Solutions are currently recruiting for a Process Engineers with CHPP experience for a part-time or full-time fixed-term roles. Great opportunity to work on process optimisation, plant performance, and continuous improvement within CHPP with potential for ongoing work.

This role will cover a fixed-term maternity leave position, with the opportunity for potential ongoing employment based on business needs.

As a Process Engineer, you will be responsible for providing process engineering support to our clients Coal Handling and Preparation Plant (CHPP) operations, ensuring continuity of technical capability, safe plant performance, and delivery of production outcomes.

You will be tasked with optimising processes, ensuring efficiency, and implementing improvements to maximise output and minimise downtime. Additionally, you will work closely with other team members to troubleshoot issues and implement practical solutions to ensure the smooth operation of the plant.

To excel in this role, you will need a strong background in process engineering, particularly within a CHPP environment. You should have a solid understanding of coal processing operations, equipment, and technologies. Experience with process optimisation, troubleshooting, and project management will be highly regarded.

Key requirements for the role include:

👉Degree qualified in Process, Chemical, or Metallurgical Engineering
👉Demonstrated experience in CHPP operations within the coal mining industry
👉Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
👉Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
👉Proven track record of driving process improvements and optimising plant performance
