Singleton Neighbourhood Centre is a welcoming community-focused organisation providing a place for people to connect, access support, participate in activities and build stronger connections within the local community.
The Singleton Neighbourhood Centre is looking for a Centre Support Worker to join their team and help ensure the Centre is a welcoming, safe and well-supported environment for clients, community members, volunteers and visitors.
ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a varied, hands-on community services role where no two days are necessarily the same. Under the supervision of the Centre Coordinator, you will provide practical and administrative support to the Centre, assist clients and community members with enquiries, support activities and programs, and work alongside staff and volunteers to help deliver the Centre's services.
You will also assist with the development, planning/implementation, preparation and cooking of meals as part of the delivery of social and community services in the OpenDoor.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS - You will need to hold or be able to maintain:
- Certificate III in Support Work or an appropriate discipline
- Current Class C Driver Licence
- Current Working with Children Check & National Criminal History Check
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Safe Food Handling Certificate
WHAT WE OFFER
- Permanent part-time employment – Monday to Thursday: 8:00am - 4:00pm 30 hours per week (30 min lunch breaks)
- Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Award 2010 – Level 2.1 - $36.22 per hour
