2nd LPC unit commissioning is now complete giving us the ability to process more samples. Particle analysis is a key indicator in filtered oil systems especially hydraulics, bearings and turbines.

LABORATORY WORKER ( CASUAL ) - IMMEDIATE START

40hrs per week
Monday to Friday
08:00 am to 16:00

No experience required as training is provided.

Duties and Tasks

Laboratory workers may perform the following tasks:

• clean, maintain and set up the laboratory and equipment for use in experiments
• collect, classify samples
• perform diagnostic and other scientific tests
• carry out experimental procedures and monitor processes
• use computers and computer-interfaced equipment
• assemble analysis kits
• other tasks as required

Work Conditions

Laboratory workers work on the process-production line and in the laboratory. They may work in a team or alone.

Depending on the type of laboratory, they may handle dangerous or hazardous materials and as such, safety awareness and compliance with regulations is important. Protective clothing and equipment is provided.

Normal Work Hours

• Monday to Friday 08:00 to 16:00
• 30 minute lunch period and reasonable breaks

Personal Requirements

• English is your primary language
• Australian citizen or permanent resident
• be a resident of Singleton NSW
• enjoy scientific activities
• able to produce accurate and detailed work
• good eyesight (may be corrected) and normal colour vision
• able to work as part of a team
• able to “have a go”
