Casual - Min 24 hrs per week

Join Our Team as a Plant Propagator
Tissue Culture Australia, a leading Tissue Culture facility, is seeking dedicated individuals for our team. We produce over 8 million quality plant cuttings annually and pride ourselves on our strong team culture and supportive work environment.
Role Highlights:
• Position: Casual Plant Propagator (Min 24 hrs/week) - Start Date: End of April
• Location: Skye, Victoria. Limited public transport. You must be able to organise your own transport to and from the site.
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Environment: Fast-paced, process-driven laboratory using specialised tools such as scalpels and tweezers to cut plants and propagate new ones efficiently.
• Skills: Precision, attention to detail, reliability, teamwork, and the ability to thrive in a target-oriented environment
• Experience: No prior experience required; an interest in plants is a plus!
• Remuneration: Based on the Nursery Award 2020

Mansfield’s Propagation Nursery, Australia’s leading Propagation Nursery has an exciting opportunity for a positive, enthusiastic, self motivated person to join our Growing team.

The successful applicant will:
Be able to work in a fast paced highly productive environment
Display excellent communication, organisational and time management skills
Be a team player with values aligned to ours
Those with experience in Landscaping, Crop Growing and Nursery Work encouraged to apply

Core functions could include:
• Stock block growing and maintenance
• Nursery stock growing and maintenance
• Monitoring product growth and maintaining records
• Producing high quality products in line with production/sales targets
• Pest and Disease identification and control
• Greenhouse climate control
• Irrigation control
• Implementing spray and nutrition programs
• Maintaining high levels of hygiene throughout all areas of control

Hi Everyone, are putting a team together to participate in the 2023 Melbourne MS Run/Walk/Roll event being held on Sunday 21/05/2023 at Albert Park Lake.

MS affects more young people than any other neurological condition. It’s a lifelong disease and there is no cure. That’s why we’re raising vital funds that help make support and services possible
Multiple Sclerosis is a chronic and often debilitating disease of the central nervous system (the brain, spinal cord and optic nerves).

There are over 33,300 people living with MS in Australia, and 1 in 3 of us will be directly impacted through a diagnosed family member, friend or colleague.
Multiple sclerosis is a lifelong disease for which there is no known cure...yet. This is why funding for support and services is so vital while the search for a cure continues.

Both the Mansfield Family and current members of our team have and continue to be affected by Multiple Sclerosis and we encourage anyone who’s interested to join in this team activity and show their support.

Come celebrate the resilience and diversity of these amazing people and the broader MS community - whether you’re enjoying a social walk, going for a PB or wish to make a donation your participation would be greatly appreciated.
