Are you an adult (over 18) victim-survivor of child sexual abuse living in Tasmania? Are you an organisation that provides supports to adult victim-survivors of child sexual abuse in Tasmania?
We are looking for victim-survivors interested in providing input into a campaign to improve responses to disclosures by children and young people?
The Tasmanian Department of Premier and Cabinet (DPAC) has engaged Showpony (www.showpony.com.au) to create a public advertising campaign to raise awareness of child sexual abuse. The campaign will provide clear information on how to recognise signs of abuse and report concerns, helping to protect children and young people.
Tess Moodie Consultancy is facilitating consultations for victim-survivors to provide input on the development of a public campaign to improve responses to children and young people when they disclose they are experiencing child sexual abuse.
Participants will be required to attend two online focus group sessions on 2nd and 9th April, 2025 at 10:00 am.
Support will be provided in the session by a qualified specialist practitioner.
