Omnitech Playgrounds also offer the complete after service experience including inspections, maintenance and refurbishments of your play equipment. Further to all of the above Omnitech are the official Australian distributor of Internationally renowned products from HAGS in Sweden and Little Tikes in the USA. At Omnitech we are always striving to exceed our client's expectations, and this recent tower at Yea Riverside Caravan Park was no exception!

Our team collaborated with the council and client, refining and improving the design to realise their vision and create a fantastic playground to suit their space and needs.

The client desired a nature-themed play space, which was achieved through a bright yet natural colour pallete, natural rope and composite timber cladding to complement the leafy surrounds of the regional Victorian bush. This impressive tower, with a variety of vantage points and challenging climbers is sure to attract visitors to the Caravan Park.

Omnitech’s modular playground systems allow for endless customisation, enabling us to interchange equipment and adjust layouts to create the best playground for any space. With a wide range of material and colours at our disposal and endless customisation possibilities, our designs can be adjusted to fit your desired theme or look.

AUSTRALIAN MADE WEEK | Timber

Another core part of Omnitech's Australian Made commitment is our devotion to using locally and responsibly grown white cypress for our timber equipment. Using a timber unit as the base for your playground is a fantastic way to create a well-blended and natural looking space for leafy pocket parks and green corridors.

We are also committed to celebrating Australia's gorgeous hardwood timber, using sugar gum logs, such as those pictured here, for all our nature play elements.

Nature play is yet another excellent way to create an immersive play space which provides a different style of play to a traditional playground unit. It encourages a more imaginative and hands-on play style which promotes a variety of skill development such as climbing and balancing.

Forming the finish for most of our products, our in-house powder coating facilities ensure we can achieve maximum durability and superior quality for every product we manufacture.

All of our steel and aluminium components are powder coated in our Somerton factory by our skilled team, before being carefully packed and transported to site.

Whether the aim is to stand out or blend in to the surrounding space, with 15 carefully selected colours to choose from we can help you to achieve any look or theme for your playground.

AUSTRALIAN MADE WEEK | Rope

From large climbing nets and tower platforms to bridges and balancing acts, rope is an absolute staple in any Omnitech playground.

Constructed of 16mm woven polypropylene fibre with a wire core, our rope assemblies ensure maximum durability, whilst achieving a more comfortable grip and climbing experience.

When creating rope play elements in our rope fabrication workshop, imagination is the limit and we are constantly thinking up methods of incorporating rope into new play elements!

AUSTRALIAN MADE WEEK 2025 | Fabrication

To begin highlighting Omnitech's local manufacturing processes, we are looking at our in-house fabrication capabilities! Omnitech has over 30 years of experience in metal fabrication, proudly using locally sourced materials to ensure the highest quality for our playground equipment in pre-galvanised steel, stainless steel and aluminium!

Our skilled team of fabricators roll, bend and weld our equipment in-house at our Somerton factory, ensuring expert quality control and consistency in every piece of equipment which leaves our factory.

New project alert! This exciting new installation at Kellett Reserve in Kew showcases some of our custom design and manufacturing capabilities, through a varied play space created for kids of all ages and abilities to enjoy. 🌿

At the center of the space sits a bespoke tower adorned in natural imagery with the custom lasercut façade and CNC panels. With a natural and neutral colour scheme and composite timber cladding, this playground fits beautifully into the leafy surrounds of Kew. Attached to the tower unit is a grand curved tube slide, and a circuit of overhead and fitness activities that lead towards an activity box with plenty of climbing for greater challenges to senior kids.

Junior kids will love the custom cubby with interactive play panels, a slide, rope bridge and talk tubes, along with our inclusive bird springer. Adjacent to this area is a basket swing with a rubber path, making it more accessible for a wider range of users.

Completing our recent triad of projects for Warrnambool City Council is this re-vamped playspace at Davidson Oval!

Working within the spaces' unique, pre-existing footprint, Omnitech has been able to maximise play-value for this pocket park. Featuring a custom designed Extreme Unit, a two-bay swing with accessible basket, tri-roka springer, timber stepping stones and 2 sensory play panels, this park caters for all ages and abilities!

Completing the space, Omnitech also manufactured and installed a new bench seat at the rear of the space, and a wheelchair accessible picnic table on a newly extended concrete pad.

Omnitech is proud to unveil its latest project for the District Council of Robe, in South Australia!

Taking on the major re-development of the Robe Street Playground space, this project encompassed all elements of Omnitech’s available services from landscape and playground design, manufacture of standard and custom equipment, installation, landscaping and even some refurbishing of the existing unit.

Serving as a high-use public space for the surrounding area, it was important to add value for a wide range of users. An activity cubby, sensory play panels, 2x sand pits and play boat all appeal to junior users. At the rear of the space a variety of climbing and nature play elements, as well as accessible spinner and double-bay swing provides more challenging play items for older users.

Kikuyu lawn, bench seating, a basketball half court and landscaping consisting of ironbark logs, locally sourced limestone and native plantings all work to complete this important community space.

Our second project for Warrnambool City Council in as many weeks, Omnitech is proud to have completed this new space in Shrader Park, Allansford!

A combination unit catering for both junior and senior users takes centre-focus, with a natural colour palette to tie-in to established surrounding trees. Blending of natural elements are further enhanced by organic mudstone rock edging, new plantings and timber iron bark steppers.

A double-bay swing with basket seat, twirl bars and springer all increase play value while installation of new picnic shelter and perimeter seating maximises usability for the community!
