Hey Kempsey recyclers! Even though we will be closed over the Christmas, Boxing Day and New Year's Day public holidays, make sure to keep all your bottles and cans over the festive season and bring them back to us on January 3rd, 2023. Another heads up is that we will be closing earlier at 1pm on Christmas Eve (24th Dec).

Happy holidays!

Recycling is one of the best things you can do to fight against climate change and global warming. Why is recycling so important? According to many studies, such as the Stern report released by the British Government, deforestation and landfill account for about 25% of the worlds greenhouse gas emissions every year. In greenhouse terms, that means every tonne of aluminium recycled saves about 18 tonnes of carbon dioxide (equivalent)!

Are you recycling to help us battle climate change? Let us know in the comments!
