Today, the CultureVerse team celebrates International Women’s Day, recognising the incredible achievements of women at Think HQ, CultureVerse, and around the world.

This year’s theme, "For ALL women and girls: Rights. Equality. Empowerment," calls for action toward a future where no one is left behind—a world of equal rights, power, and opportunity for all.

At CultureVerse, this theme resonates deeply with our team. As Nickie shares:
"This year, my focus is on creating space for reflection on how to elevate the voices of young women, fostering harmony and mutual empowerment so they can become the best versions of themselves, both professionally and personally, in a safe and respectful environment."

CultureVerse’s Rania Aissaoui and Chloe Tran recently attended the Vietnamese Australian Professional Network’s Lunar New Event: Embracing the Snake’s Charm.

Hosted by comedian Diana Nguyen, the night was a celebration of new beginnings and connections with fun activities.

“It was great to connect with fellow Vietnamese Australian professionals. We had a great time with a Tết-themed bingo, a fashion show and a cheeky matchmaker segment! Thank you for having us, and chúc mừng năm mới!”, Chloe said.

CultureVerse’s Jessica Billimoria, Rebecca Song, and Miko Hernandez recently joined in the Lunar New Year Celebrations Dinner hosted by the Box Hill Hawks Football Club.

Organised by the Box Hill Hawks Director Diana Lin—the evening celebrated the Year of the Wood Snake with a perfect blend of sport, art, culture, food and community.

“Thank you for making the celebration a success. It’s an honor to champion diversity within the club and beyond. I’m excited for the year ahead as we continue to build meaningful relationships,” Diana shared.

We recently hosted an online professional development session on advanced computer-assisted translation (CAT) tool usage 💻

Neelam Yadav, our Project Manager and Analyst, along with the team of Cameron Darke, Jessica Kim, Inma Cortes and Dung (Darren) Le, shared valuable tips on making the most of collaborative translation software while providing high-quality translation outputs.

The session had a great turnout, with an engaged group of attendees who asked plenty of insightful questions 💡
