We’d love to give a massive shout‑out to Team Jake MicroEnterprises for their incredible generosity and ongoing support of our community.
This month, they donated 100 toiletry packs, a huge help for local people doing it tough. And the best part? They’re keen to make this a regular donation. How amazing is that? 🙌

It's been a tough two weeks with Jake experiencing high levels of seizures followed by a week of mania from the onset of bi polar!
He has been dysregulated for two weeks emotions all over the place plus it's been extremely hot causing seizures to increase.
Now he has picked up a cold coughing and barking at night.
Poor man he is soldiering on, his kind staff have been excellent in his supports!
Those interrupted nights sleep can be a killer!

However they are all great and support him through the night for him to get some sleep.

Here's hoping we are at the tail end of a trying and tiring fortnight.

Just a reminder to all tradies who may use 'cleaning rags' in their business.
Team Jake assist Jake a man living with Autism and Intellectual disability to have a small Micro enterprise called
Jake's Rags for Tradies.
Jake collects unwanted towels and some of them are turned into our 'Rag packets' for sale to local trades men and women. Other towels are provided to local animal rescues.
The packs are clean and tidy and have approximately 25 pieces of toweling the size of a small t-towel inside, this depends on the thickness of the towel - these bags are packed by Jake and his Team each week.
For sale $5/per bag.
We can deliver if local or arrangements can be made to collect.

A Heartfelt Thank You from Team Jake
We would like to extend our deepest gratitude to all those who have generously contributed to our causes this year and supported Jake in his quest to have an occupation with his Micro business, 'Bags To The Rescue', including other donations for the many causes we celebrate during the year. The resources collected during this year have been many and plentiful, and have kept Jake occupied and meeting his NDIS goals of community access and building relationships in his communities of choice - thank you!
As of tonight, our collections for 2024 have officially closed, and we are now preparing for our final collections next week, we will be contacting those currently in our in box over the weekend with collection dates.
Our team will be sorting donations from next week and delivering them to various rescues before we take our holiday break for Christmas.
We are truly grateful for the overwhelming support, especially considering the challenging economic times many are facing. We understand that donations can be a significant ask when families are also struggling, and we deeply appreciate your kindness and generosity.
Pet Food Drive:
The response to our pet food collection has been especially heartwarming, and we are excited to pass along these supplies to those rescues and other facilities that we support. Your contributions will make a real difference, and we thank each and every one of you for being part of Team Jake's mission.
We would especially like to thank:
Lisa Stafford State Sales Manager for 'Happy Tails' pet food, who has so generously donated food and toys a massive amount! We were overwhelmed with the kindness.
