After last week’s successful Agriculture Victoria Refresh and Reset Farmer Dinner in Woolsthorpe - this week we are off for a few farm visits in SA.
Magic country - but many of these farms have also experienced a very dry 24 months.
A bit of forward planning with some support from Adam, should ensure they can make the most of the coming months.

We loved receiving this video today from one of the amazing farmers we have recently had the pleasure of working with. It is great seeing the results in action. Watch the video with sound on!

This is a great example of what can come from some ambition, practical planning and the right support at the right time.

Through the Agriculture Victoria 1:1 Drought Support Program, Adam worked alongside this farmer to step back, look at the bigger picture, and develop a clear plan for both the farm business and personal goals. A key part of that plan was researching and designing infrastructure to improve animal welfare, efficiency and working conditions — which led to the development of these new undercover sheep yards.

The result? A well-considered investment that’s already delivering real, day-to-day benefits - - with outcomes that are physically and mentally better for both the livestock and the operator - and setting the business up for the future.

It’s a strong reminder of the value of taking the time to plan, explore options, and back good ideas with the right support.
