Taking orders for 2027

Wonderful response to our tree call out. Pretty much all have gone now!!
We do have quite a lot of river saltbush if anyone is keen. Possibly up to 10-15000 but we are not going to grade them unless there is a reason to!!!! So if you have a winter wet salty area…. And want to plant in the next couple of weeks… please contact us asap!!
We will then grade into 72 cell trays and make sure they are all smicko just for you!!!

Happy Monday everyone
We are up to our last weeks of our season so here is the current list of our "spare trees" If there is anything on here you would like - please email us and we will grade the order as it comes in.
We empty the nursery on the 31st July -
And let everything dry out before starting again in September

Please note - we are almost full for 2027 season - so if you want anything next year, email us with your request!

Big week this week Monday - 96000 delivered to Salmon Gums in the truck and trailer and 25000 delivered on a Hyden/Narem...

Big week this week
Monday - 96000 delivered to Salmon Gums in the truck and trailer and 25000 delivered on a Hyden/Narembeen run for 4 farmers
Tuesday -21000 on a Corrigin run for 3 farmers
Wednesday - Drop off to Wickepin on the way to pick up our tree planter… then drop off to Kellerberrin with that tree planter!!
Same day 100,000 in the truck, trailer plus 5 extra staff in a Ute and trailer to help unload near Mukinbudin
Thursday- 102000 in the truck and trailer to Bullfinch
Friday- 46000 on a run to Beacon for 5 wheatbelt customers ….
Oh my gosh… what an epic week
And a brilliant team to make it all happen

Bit frosty this morning… seems a bit weird but when that happens we turn the water on!!
We give 2-3 mins per station starting from when the sun just starts rising (that when the temp drops down and when all the damage is done!) and we keep doing cycles til the sun comes up and it warms the trees!
Why??? I hear you ask???
The water is warmer than the moisture in the leaves. So it melts and runs off! So the ice does not form on the leaves of our plants and burst their cells and thus get frosted!!
For most of our plants a frost or two will NOT kill them unless we have frosts for 3-4 morning in a row. ( just makes them look not so pretty) it just damages parts of the leaves. (Although most acacias don’t like it at all… and they turn into melted old lettuce if a few frosts in a row without intervention)
So the leaves might not look good, but if the stem and roots are still green and roots are whiteish…. It will continue be a beautiful tree! (Just not pretty how we like them!!)

Packed trees ready for loading on the truck tomorrow, Steele taking them on a two day south run!!
Steele went early this morning to do a quick close south run with a tree planter, Dustin went to Northern wheatbelt when Steele got back , dropped off some Anameka to three customers … and another tree planter… with a friendly kangaroo annihilating the front headlight (can’t do night driving for a bit!!)
We will load them on the truck in the morning. (Can you see the numbers …. So we know what is in each box)
It is a super crazy time for us now!! Trying to make sure everyone gets their trees somewhere near when they want them!!! …. East of Kalbarri to east of Esperance, scheduling and still trying to grade trees! It’s all logistics!!

If you have got sub soil moisture and want to plant yours… give Dustin or Steele a call to book in delivery or pick up!

I have the best group of backpacker staff currently working at our tree nursery. However our season is coming to an end and we have to say goodbye to our seasonal staff in 2 weeks and most still have between 2-6weeks of time on their 88 days.
I would love to get them all employed and their 88 days done and dusted!!!
We are located in Tammin. I am happy for them to stay in our accomodation and work for you if you’re close
As employers you need to
Provide payslips
Have an abn
Have at least 35 hours per week or 7.6 hours per day work for them.
Or we could possibly look at labour hire… but it will be invoiced from us covering super, workers comp and gst (so we are not out of pocket)
These guys are freaking awesome and I really wish I had enough work for them. Some of them are coming back next season just for work. … but they need their time done before that starts.
Most of them are travelling in twos
Please message me if you might have work for them!!!! 🤞🤞🤞
