53 years.

That is how long the New York Knicks (and their fans) waited.

What finally ended the drought wasn’t 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 Jalen Brunson’s 45 point-MVP performance, it was a team that came back from double-digit deficits in every. single. win. – including 29 points down in Game 4 – and refused to fold.

𝘛𝘢𝘭𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘨𝘦𝘵𝘴 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘤𝘭𝘰𝘴𝘦. 𝘊𝘶𝘭𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘦 𝘨𝘦𝘵𝘴 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘦.

The teams that win the hard moments are rarely the most talented ones in the room, they’re the ones who have decided, together, that they are not done.

That decision doesn’t happen in the fourth quarter, it happens in the work done long before the bright lights come on.

The leaders who define it lead with clarity, the ones who don’t lead by default.

Your Personal Trademark is the honest statement of who you are as a leader – how you show up, what you stand for, and what people can count on from you, especially under pressure.

Our program gives you the structure to find it, define it, and live it.

Self-paced or facilitated. Start any time.

One gear is not enough.

The best leaders we work with are not one thing - they know when to direct and when to step back, when to set the task and when to ask the question, when to tell and when to trust.

That's not a style; that's a skill.

Here are five signals your team is ready for you to lead differently.

Last night, Gary Ablett Jnr stood in front of the world and talked about culture.

In his Hall of Fame acceptance speech, he acknowledged the work Leading Teams did with the ahead of the 2007 season – the year the Cats began building one of the most dominant team cultures in modern Australian sport.

Two premierships, a generation of players who learned to hold each other to a standard, and a way of working together that outlasted any individual season.

We are incredibly proud to have played a role in that journey!

Culture doesn’t win premierships on its own, but without it, talent rarely does.

Congratulations, Gaz. A deserving inductee – and a leader on and off the field.

School leadership has changed - the challenge is no longer just how to improve performance - it’s how to do it while strengthening trust, culture and people at the same time.

The 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝘂𝗺 has been designed for principals and leadership teams navigating pressure, complexity and constant change.

Not another traditional conference - a practical forum focused on leadership, collaboration and sustainable improvement.

When performance drops, many leaders instinctively look at strategy, structure or external factors first.

In our experience, performance issues are often a reflection of something deeper within the system.

Our Cylinder Model helps unpack how each layer impacts the next, and why strong systems are built through clear standards, aligned leadership and the courage to uphold both consistently.

Justin Peckett explores how culture and leadership shape every layer of a team or organisation, often long before results start to reflect it.

This week we brought the entire business together at The Commons South Yarra for our 6-weekly internal High Performing Teams (HPT) session.

As an organisation built around leadership, culture and performance, we believe it’s important to continually invest in our own dynamics – not just our mechanics.

We practice what we preach, carving our meaningful time to review standards, challenging thinking, sharpening facilitation and strengthening relationships.

The highest-performing teams don’t leave culture to chance - they create regular space to reflect, challenge, learn and improve together.

Most teams don’t struggle with honesty, they struggle with having the conversations often enough.

Great discussion on SEN's Kick Off with Brandy and Jimmy, featuring our very own Kurt Wrigley unpacking why high-performing teams build accountability into everyday environments, not just when things go wrong.

Some strong insights around genuine conversations, player-led accountability, feedback culture and the standards teams accept and/or are prepared to walk past.

Well worth a listen 🎧
