Powertec Telecommunications has delivered six new Cel-Fi repeater towers along the Esperance coast, improving mobile coverage at Wharton Beach, Observatory Beach, Alexander Bay and 9, 10 and 11 Mile Beaches.

Now commissioned, these are the first six of 35 repeaters being installed under round two of the WA Government’s Surf Beaches Mobile Coverage Grants Program.

For locals and visitors, improved connectivity helps them stay connected while enjoying the coast. Alongside nearby Beach Emergency Number (BEN) signs, it also supports communication with emergency services when help is needed.

💛 R U OK? Day

Staff across our Head Office, Warehouse and remote teams came together to show their support for R U OK? Day and the importance of checking in with each other.

At Powertec, we supported R U OK? Day with a morning tea, stretching session, digital conversation board, wellbeing station, and conversation activity. These activities gave everyone an opportunity to take a break, connect with colleagues, have a chat and focus on wellbeing.

It was great to see staff getting involved across our different locations and our remote team members joining in too. A big thank you to everyone who participated and helped make the day a positive reminder that a conversation can make a difference.
