I’m incredibly honoured to be named a finalist in the AWPMA Excellence Award.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who nominated and supported me. To be recognised by my peers in an industry I am so passionate about means a great deal.
I would also like to congratulate all of the amazing women who have been nominated and wish every finalist the very best of luck. It’s wonderful to see so many talented and dedicated women being recognised for their contributions to the pest management industry.

Owner / Pest Management Technician, Lethal Pest Control
Michelle Downs is the owner of Lethal Pest Control and has been a hands-on female solo operator in the pest management industry for 14 years. She is termite qualified, general pest qualified, and holds a Certificate III in General Pest Management, along with qualifications and field experience in conservation and land management.
A great example of the depth of talent in our industry.
