Sealed Marine Windows is also proud to be the major supplier of direct glazed windows to the Australia marine industry and preferred supplier to Austal Ships, Oceanfast, Austal image and Austal USA. Direct bonded windows are another product that Sealed Marine Windows is proud to specialize in. Direct bonded windows have a diverse range of applications, from 16ft runabouts through to cray boats, trawlers, tugs, luxury vessels and ocean going liners. It is even suitable for buses, trains and strong enough to handle even the needs of earthmoving and construction machinery. Direct bonded windows do away with framed windows and their bolts which are prone to corrosion and leaks and instead utilises a combination of surface itching and sika adhesive to secure the glass to the vessels surface. We pride ourselves on delivering the best from our highly experienced and trained staff in the manufacture of our products and vessel fittings. We have worked on a number of commercial vessels and pleasure craft manufactured by Austals Group of Companies, including Greg Normans “Aussie Rules”. Our range of work has covered from small runabouts to commercial fishing vessels and all the way thought to naval patrol boats. Our specialized experience extends from 38-meter passenger catamarans and up to 126-meter high-speed vehicle ferries as well as 68-meter luxury motor yachts.

Milestone Achieved: Final Guardian-Class Patrol Boat Launched

We're proud to announce the successful launch of Hull 544 — the final Guardian-class Patrol Boat contracted for construction under the Pacific Patrol Boat Replacement Project (SEA3036-1) for Defence Australia.

The launch marks a significant milestone in the (now) 24 vessel program that began in May 2017 with the plate cutting on the first Guardian, HMPNGS Ted Diro; and has seen 22 vessels delivered to date, to support maritime security across the Pacific.

Every Guardian-class Patrol Boat constructed by Austal here in Henderson Western Australia reflects the skill, dedication and resilience of our and our supply chain and industry partners.

Through challenges and change, we have worked collaboratively to refine processes, strengthen capability and establish a highly efficient steel shipbuilding production line.
