đ„ WEIGHT LOSS SUCCESS FOR 2022 đ„
There will no doubt be a lot of people on here wanting to make improvements to their diets in the new year,
And between now and then you have a little bit of time to think about what youâre going to do.
I wanted to help you in some way,
Given that weâve literally worked with tens of thousands of people globally with their nutrition?
Weâre in a pretty good position to help you.
Iâm not going to tell you which strategy to follow by the way,
Because that bit is up to you.
(P.s any of your Fitpros doing the same? You absolutely should not beâŠ)
I will however share with you the key aspects for success no matter which strategy you follow.
This way you can personalise your own approach and know that the important nutrition boxes are ticked at the same time!
1) SAFE â€ïž
Yes this is a boring one- but jokes aside if itâs not safe then do not go anywhere near it.
There are A LOT of snakes out there trying to sell their fatblaster potion 3000 etc, with absolutely no idea of the ingredients and how theyâll interact with the body.
Avoid like the plague, your safety is #1.
2) EFFECTIVE âđŒ
Make sure it works! Is there some science available to suggest that it actually works?
Lots of products and strategies out there simply have no effect on things like weight loss whatsoever.
If it doesnât work- you shouldnât be considering it.
3) SUSTAINABLE đ
Letâs say itâs safe and effective, which lots and lots of strategies out there are,
Whatâs the point in say losing weight for 4 weeks,
But having to throw in the towel because itâs so unbelievably difficult/ complicated/ energy sapping/ problematic in some way?
Anybody can lose weight for a few weeks,
Losing all the necessary body fat AND doing it for life absolutely needs to be where your goals lay.
Otherwise youâll be yo-yo dieting for life instead.
Whatever you do- it needs to fit in around your daily life and commitments.
And ensure that you love it- that itâs not a chore, not a negative thing in any way.
Itâs something you look forward to being engrossed in and that can be done daily with minimal friction.
4) EXPECT HURDLES STAY RESILIENT đȘđ»
Even when all the above boxes are ticked,
There will STILL be:
Weekends away
Birthdays x 10+
Easter
Christmas
Nee year
Kids school holidays
All inclusive holidays
Stress at work
Relationship challenges
And a hundered other varieties which will absolutely test you.
Situations where you at some point consider saying:
âSOD IT I CANT DO THIS?!â
The psychological aspects of your journey are critical in these circumstances.
Just know that itâs unbelievably normal for you to fall off the wagon every now and again.
Nobody stays 100% consistent 52 weeks of the year and thatâs absolutely fine.
The key here is havaing the bounce-back-ability no matter what is thrown your way.
These situations are almost guaranteed to happen,
So you absolutely need to be mentally prepared when the inevitable occurs.
Your nutrition,
Your fitness,
Your mental game,
Your recoveryâŠ
All need to be working in tandem.
You can NOT just say it lol get to the gym and just ignore nutritionâŠ
Or smash it at the gym and have a perfect diet,
But only get 3/4 hours of sleep a dayâŠ
It all has to be complimentary of a life changing journey.
So,
If itâs a low carb diet?
Low fat?
Intermittent fasting?
Tracking?
Portion control?
A vegetarian diet?
âŠwhatever it is, just make sure all the above boxes are ticked and youâll no go far wrong.
