Apologies for the delay, been busy on my own in the store this afternoon so trying to juggle it all.
You may have all noticed (Iβd be shocked if you havenβt π), that we have been busy remodelling the store. Believe me, I am as annoyed as you that it has taken as long as it has, and still isnβt done. π I am thankful however that only 20-30% of you express that to us verbally. I thank the rest of you, who have the decency to keep it in your heads! π
As works have progressed we have thought of new ways to make certain areas better suit the products in question, as such, plans change, and delays occur. When itβs all finished, I trust you will see the vision that we have always had, come to life. Thank you for bearing with us, and all I ask is for a little more time and patience! βΊοΈ
Trust me, the chaos and work you see is only 20% of whatβs going on. The other 80% is happening behind-the-scenes, day and night.
Now⦠onto the more pressing matter of tomorrow, Friday 17th July 2026.
There is going to be ample reason to come in tomorrow.
1. New release products from both Pokemon and Magic: The Gathering, with restocks of some older products as well. We will be open from 6am, so why waste your time driving far and wide to queue at the big dog retailers, and come into Springwood to pick up the products first, before anyone else. π
2. There will be a big announcement about a new service that will be offering starting from next week.
3. Lastly however, as part of the overall makeover of the store, and diversification of our business we have been hard at work thinking of new ways to mix it up, and to bring things to the community that are not already on offer. The last thing we want to do would be to step on any other businessβ toes. In a community as small as this, itβs not right to attempt to compete with other established businesses. So itβs taken some outside of the box thinking to get to where we are.
I wonβt reveal it all now, but will drop further clues throughout the evening. Those of you that visit us in the morning will see it first and be the first to experience it, but all will be revealed in the morning! Stay tuned!
