We currently have several casual positions with the view to permanency available for Timber process workers. These positions consist of being on a process line and carrying out several manual handling tasks with regard to stacking timber. It is a fast paced environment driven by processes and supervised by line leaders. Safety is always our first priority
We have on offer afternoon shift from 2.30pm to 10.30pm starting within 1 week.
Duties:
• Manually stacking of timber
• Machine operation
• Loading/feeding timber to machine
• Binding and strapping timber packs
• General tidying and maintenance of the workplace

No experience is required for this role however we are seeking workers that have the following attributes:
• Are able to lift up to 17kgs and physically fit
• Able to work in a fast paced environment
• A genuine hard working attitude and strong work ethic
• Is very reliable and has own transport
• Has excellent communication skills
• Has good attention to detail
• Understands the importance their role has in achieving the targets for the day.
• Right to work in Australia

We are seeking an experienced Forklift Driver who holds a current LF licence, is self motivated and can handle the pressures of loading and unloading timber packs from the infeed and outfeed of machines quickly and safely in an organised and effective manner. Experience in a similar product would suffice.

This person must be able to work within the confines of a tightly run warehouse. We are seeking a quick thinker and a person who is able to take responsibility to ensure machine down time is limited.

The successful applicant must be: Minimum 2 years experience
• Health and Safety focused
• Physically fit and healthy and willing to complete a medical (including Drug and Alcohol testing).
• Experience handling timber packs is preferred
• Yard organisation ability
• Quick thinking
• Ability to work unsupervised
• Have reliable transport
This will start as a casual position with a view to permanency
Hours are 6.30am to 2.36pm Monday to Friday.

Successful candidates will be required to pass a medical and drug and alcohol test.
