Planning for vintage ‘27 and have to say I’m very excited to have a non-preggo vintage next year 😂🥴

Out of the five vintages we’ve completed here, I’ve been pregnant for three of them! Very much looking forward to carrying my own heavy buckets and being able to swallow the w**e instead of spitting it out 🥳

Pinotage inspection 🌱 it’s that time of year again!

Our newly-planted baby vines across the four blocks are also showing us lots of green shoots 💚 vintage planning is underway and HOW IS IT already spring again?!!!

He’s here! Our baby boy, Luca, arrived safely on Friday 21st August on the Gold Coast 🩵

Everything went well and we’re all recovering and adjusting to life as a family of four back at the farm. Billie and Barney don’t quite know what to make of him just yet and Lily is thriving in her new role of big sister.

Thank you for your understanding if emails and phone calls are taking longer than usual to return over the next couple of weeks while we settle back in! ✨

Wooohoooo! First cab off the rank for our 2026 vintage is this tasty little rosé that we bottled today. We sold out of our last rosé so quickly that we had to hurry up and get this into bottle before our baby boy arrives (which could be anytime from now on really) — it will be online and at the Cellar Door in the next couple of weeks. Watch this space 🍒

Thank you to the best bottling team today — Nick, Clive, Daron, Jay and Phil. They made me (Caitlin) sit down for most of the day and do quality control instead of being allowed on the tools, which was annoying and frustrating 😂

Can’t wait to sit in the sunshine and have a big, cold glass of this one soon!

The sun is shining and we’re pumped for another huge weekend at the Cellar Door!

The winter school holidays are always fun with lots of visitors to the region and so much to do for families, couples and kids.

If you’re planning on stopping in, make sure you give us a call or make a booking via the website. Walk-ins are always welcome too, but if you want to reserve a seat it’s best to book ahead at this time of year 🍷🍷
