2026 A Vintage in a Rush!
In most years we would be just starting to pick. This year, with the very dry hot weather, we did an early pick for sparkling on January 29 and since then we haven't stopped. Over 30 tonnes picked so far some by traditional hand picking and some by the very efficient machine harvester from Price Grape Harvesting. Thank you everyone!

Mr Alfred Cyclone went around us so we are happy to be getting rain this time and see water running into the Singing Lake. I didn't venture far in the rain yesterday but I took pictures of the magnolia walk (damp), horses (damp), overflowing water tank (damp), early Autumn trees (damp) before going indoors to light the fire (warm and dry). A good day in the Granite Belt. Come and see us and try the current wines - especially the Verdelho.
