With its back firmly tucked into a small granite hillside where we spent weeks blasting out a 250 sqm space, is our underground w**e storage cellar. Here have been ageing our w**es since 2014 and storing w**e for our Inner Circle w**e club members since we opened at Easter 2015. Few people get to see the cellar which remains at a stable temperature all year around, as it's not open to the public. Wines are moved in and out of the cellar via a two-tonne non-personnel lift and staff descend the four metres into the cellar via a beautiful ironbark staircase built by Brad. Here are a few images of team member Leigh packing our latest club dispatches and checking out the w**es in our w**e library where we keep a dozen or so w**es from every variety, every vintage. Note the 'w**e walll' which is decorated with hundreds of empty w**e bottles, all of which were used in the cellar door for visitor tastings. And I've added a shot of bud burst 2026 in our Old Vine Shiraz. So gnarled and arthritic-looking but still producing lovely w**e at 70 years old.
