3 Mistakes most business owners make 😕

1️⃣ They focus on their passion over their purpose
Every business should make it about their purpose.
2️⃣ Small business owners try to do everything on their own.
Without support from someone thats done it before &
it ends badly & will lead to burnout. 😕
3️⃣ They don't have the end in mind.
They start a business & don't consider their exit strategy plans,
so they are not prepared for what could happen
& their not prepared to exit their business in different circumstances
& that means they usually end their business in a way they shouldn't.

Is Your Business Missing Out on a Hidden Advantage❓

Some businesses are not just surviving, they're thriving 🚀
What's their secret weapon?
It might be simpler than you think.

Research shows that businesses with inclusive offerings are more likely to see better profits.
Inclusivity isn't just a buzzword; it helps businesses create new ideas and make smarter choices.

Customers Choose Inclusivity
74% of consumers are willing to switch brands to support businesses that align with their values, including inclusivity

When a brand is seen as inclusive, it feels more honest and trustworthy, directly influencing purchasing decisions

Is Your Business Truly Inclusive❓
Beyond policies, true inclusivity is woven into your business culture, products, and services.

Have you considered your business's inclusivity❓

5 things I wish I knew before starting a business. ✅

1️⃣ Building a business takes time.
Real time. Not 90 days. Not 6 months.
It can take years to build something sustainable.
Stop expecting instant results, it takes time to grow.

2️⃣ Your offer is everything.
Not your branding, not your website,
Not how aesthetically pleasing your Instagram is.

3️⃣ Your marketing will make or break you.
You can have the best product in the world
but without good marketing, you have no customers

4️⃣ You get back what effort you put in.
No shortcuts. No hacks. No overnight success.
The time and effort you put in shows up in your business.

5️⃣ Know your exit plans from the beginning.
Whether you're building to sell or building for freedom
always know what you're working toward.
Without it, you're just working with no clear direction.

If you're just starting a business, was this helpful?

Is it time to quit❓

And honestly, maybe it is.
I know that's not what you want to hear.

Some will tell you to "push through" and "never give up."
But sometimes quitting is the smartest thing you can do.
Sometimes walking away feels like a weight lifting off your shoulders.

Here are some reasons it might actually be time to quit:
🌟Your health is suffering, physically or mentally.
🌟You're only staying because you've already invested so much.
🌟The business requires you to be someone you're not.
🌟Deep down, you already know the answer. You're just waiting for permission.

But here's the thing:
Some of you aren't ready to quit.
You're just ready to stop doing it the way you've been doing it.

There's a difference between a bad business and a good business being run badly because no one taught you what you actually needed to know.

So ask yourself:
Am I struggling because this isn't right for me❓
Or am I struggling because I'm missing the knowledge that would make this work❓

If you're not sure which one you are, comment STUCK and let's figure it out together.

Because walking away from the wrong thing is smart.
Walking away from the right thing for the wrong reasons is something you'll regret.

Do Your Actions Match Your Promoted Values & Words? 💔

Most businesses say they value loyalty, relationships, and customer care.
Then their actions show something completely different. ❌
They say people matter. But their staff lack training.
They say they appreciate long-term customers. But treat them poorly. 😞
They claim to care. But show zero empathy when it counts.

The truth:
Your marketing says one thing. ✨
Your staff's behavior says another. 🚫

And customers believe what they experience, not what you advertise.

What we experienced:
Multiple businesses handled things poorly during the hardest time.
Each one advertised their values. None of them lived them.

The cost:
Not just one customer lost.
An entire family of accounts, years of loyalty, and thousands in business gone. 💰

Why?

Because when your actions don't match your values, customers notice.
And they leave.

💭 Does your business actually deliver what you promise?

Or is there a gap between what you say and what customers experience?

When Inexperienced Managers Cost You Customers: The Hidden Price of Poor Leadership 📉

Your top performer isn't always your best manager.
Your most enthusiastic team member isn't automatically management material.

Promotion based on enthusiasm instead of proven experience, "and that includes life experience", affects your customers and your team.

The Real Cost of Inexperienced Management:
- Customer experience and satisfaction suffer 😞
- Team morale and productivity drop
- Problems escalate instead of getting solved
- Your business reputation takes the hit

Stop promoting enthusiasm. Start promoting experience. ✅
Because effective leadership isn't just about wanting the role, it's about being ready for it.

Poor management affects everything from customer retention to employee engagement. Whether you're running a small business, managing a franchise, or leading a corporate team, inexperienced managers can damage your bottom line.

💭 We see this every day across all industries, from fast food franchises to small businesses and corporate companies.

What's your take? Have you seen the impact of inexperienced management? Share your leadership experiences below. 👇

Your Team IS Your Brand 💪
A hard lesson from a heartbreaking moment 🤯

Two days after losing a family member, Kerrie walked into her bank.
She needed to pay for the cremation.

What should have been handled with basic compassion...
became a breaking point.
The staff lacked:
• Empathy
• Proper training
• Basic life experience
They couldn't handle a simple but deeply sensitive request.

Here's the truth:
In moments of vulnerability, customers see your TRUE colors.
One interaction can either:
✓ Build lifelong loyalty
or
✗ Destroy decades of trust

Your team doesn't just work for you,
They ARE you in your customers' eyes.
The bank wasn't alone.
Several companies failed Kerrie during this time.
No compassion. No professionalism.

The result?
She's taking her business elsewhere.
All of them lost a loyal customer.

The Lesson:
Train your team in procedures AND humanity.
Empathy isn't optional, it's essential.

Follow for the business lessons Kerrie learned the hard way, so you don't have to!

Kerrie's Top 5 Regrets As A Successful Business Owner ✨

Built and sold multiple businesses, but still have regrets...

Here are my top 5:
1️⃣Not exiting businesses earlier - thought I’d want to stay in the business forever.
2️⃣ Not selling when offered good money, same illusion = forever doesn’t exist.
3️⃣ Being too emotionally attached, Yep, same root cause = being too comfortable & letting go is hard!
4️⃣ Not taking opportunities to share a bricks & mortar shop, both were seasonal (summer & winter) = perfect for sharing!
5️⃣ Didn’t shout from the rooftops I was selling the business = slower sale, less $$, big mistake!

They all have a similar message but for totally different reasons.

What plans have you got in place to not have the same lessons learned as Kerrie❓
Do you have exit plans in place? Tell us yes/no in comments!
