1st Job : I was a Nanny

Current position : Truck & Machine Detailer and Traffic Controller. 2 years.

What do I love about it : For me personally, is the different locations I get to see. As a local I have not seen nor discovered as much of our beautiful valley and surrounding areas as I have since I started with FORTADE.

What do I like about working for FORTADE:
The opportunities & skills that they are giving me. Many doors have opened for me in the 2 years. I’m in the process of getting my Loader Ticket, Roller Ticket & also my No1 goal for 2021 is to get my HR Truck licence.

Improvements: I think it’s just fantastic that women are given these opportunities in our industry.

One thing nobody knows about me:
When I was young (10) all I wanted to do was be a dancer, those who know me, know I’ve got 2 left feet. But my dad broke it to me back then that they don’t make Tu-Tu’s big enough. Harsh I know !!!

Acknowledging a bloody hard worker! This bloke-one of the first gents I worked along side with is as solid as the day is long. Always makes sure the client has been looked after, is the first to make sure the work area is tidy and safe for machinery and goes all day!
